She is knowledgeable and skilled in docket management and maintenance.  Coupled with general prosecution experience, Ms. Poland also assists in enforcement proceedings within the TTAB and Federal Courts.

Prior to working with Bates & Bates, Elizabeth worked with a number of arts organizations in Atlanta and its surrounding areas where she dedicated her career to empowering and supporting artists and musicians in both the creation and distribution of their original works. Her duties included optimizing and importing years worth of inconsistent data, converting the organization’s daily operations to work within the system, training the staff on how to use the system, and pulling regularly-occurring, sophisticated reports to inform the organization’s programming and fundraising activities. Her intimate experience working with database systems has uniquely equipped Elizabeth to work with Bates & Bates’ databases and complex, dense data.
